It seems hard to believe, right?

So for that let me tell you my full journey and story of how I got this much knowledge and experience in the digital marketing field, and how I helped thousands of bloggers to grow their businesses online.

Timeline of My Blogging & Digital Journey

The Beginning was a Struggle, Confusing & Inconsistent

First of all, I’m excited and a bit nervous to write about myself, I have written hundreds of articles over 3000 words, but have never been so confused about what should I write next.

Anyway, this confusing & interesting career started in 2018, I was in Vadodara studying B.Com and playing cricket as It was my childhood dream to be a professional cricketer and play for the Indian cricket team.

My family always supported me in whatever I did in my professional life whether it was moral or monetary, but I always wanted to earn a passive income while studying and playing as it would help to bear my daily expenses of college days and buy good quality cricket equipment for myself,

So I started doing some research regarding ways to make passive income online, I read and watched hundreds of articles & videos on the internet.

Then I came across the word Blogging in an article and found people making thousands of dollars every month while sitting at home.

This made me curious so started researching how to start blogging and came across a video on YouTube where a person is making $1000+ from Adsense by publishing articles on his blog and showing Google Ads.

Started First Blog on Blogger.com & Quit

I started my blogging journey on 7th August 2018 with a technology blog on the free Blogger.com platform with a free blogspot domain, without getting any knowledge regarding blogging.

Published a few articles without any knowledge of SEO, and as a result, I haven’t received any traffic, so I just left blogging after a few weeks as I also needed to focus on my cricket.

Meanwhile, I started getting new knowledge & experiences from other successful bloggers, digital marketers, and SEO experts.

Created 2nd Tech Blog with Custom Domain & Stopped

Again on 22nd October 2018, I started a new tech blog on Blogger.com, where I used to share news and updates related to upcoming smartphones and smart gadgets in India.

I worked for a few months on that blog and also started to receive decent traffic in the beginning, but after a few months, I purchased a custom .COM domain from Godaddy for the same blog.

Got rejected by Google Adsense 16 times and lost hope of making money through blogging, then again stopped working on that blog.

On the 17th attempt, after making a few changes suggested by my friend I got my first Adsense approval on my blog, which made me feel a bit motivated so I started to post blogs.

But to earn money from Adsense you need some amount of traffic and visitors on your blog, and to withdraw money to your bank account from AdSense you need to earn at least $100.

I haven’t earned more than $20 within the first 6-8 months after getting approval, so again, I stopped working on it.

A Motivating Comeback & Fallback

After a few months, in September 2019, When I was sitting with my friend in my college’s canteen, I just thought to check my current AdSense earnings and saw that I had earned $2.13 today & $4.77 in yesterday’s section.

I instantly checked my blog’s analytics to find out from which page I was getting this much revenue, I found that one of my articles on GPD P 2 Max got more than 6K views, ranking 2nd on Google search results.

Most of the traffic was from USA and UK that’s why I received this much revenue [the screenshot of the total page views of that post is attached].

I yelled my friend’s name and told him the same thing, and we discussed it for a few hours, then he told me to focus more on my blog as without being consistent and doing any hard work I achieved these results.

So, I did some work again on that blog and earned around a total of 80$+ for a few months.

But wasn’t able to invest time because I also wanted to focus on my cricket career, and after my practice, it wasn’t possible as I was exhausted, also at that time my 3rd or 4th-semester exams were about to happen.

Due to that, I lost my interest in blogging so I didn’t focus much on my blog and stopped working on it.

The Rise of My Blogging & Digital Journey!

Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, my cricket club and college closed for almost more than a year and I came back home [Surat].

I wasn’t doing any job or other work during that period because of Covid restrictions, so was just spending time at my home playing PUBG [now BGMI].

One day I lost interest in everything when I got to know that my cricket club had closed permanently. And I won’t be able to join any other club due to Covid restrictions.

After a lot of discussions with my father & brother about my future, I told them about blogging and what I had achieved in blogging till that day, they both agreed and gave me time to focus and start blogging again.

Even after not achieving success in that tech blog I was still happy because I was somehow connected to the blogging community, and got some knowledge of SEO and how the search engine works.

After getting a failure in different blogs, on 29th March 2020 in the evening, I was drinking some coffee ☕. I was thinking about those unsuccessful blogs and was a little concerned about my blogging career.

So I decided to get more knowledge of the blogging & SEO field, creating my own strategies and work plans.

After that, I again thought of starting a new blog to implement my strategies and plans to check whether it would work or not.

Then I started a new blog on 4th November 2020, but this time it wasn’t for me. A member from a Telegram group asked me for some help in creating his crypto blog, at that time I thought his blog was perfect for me to test my strategies on it.

I helped him a lot in setting up his new blog, sharing my personal experiences, getting Adsense approval, and all of my knowledge & everything with him.

Received 1st Payment from Adsense

Meanwhile, On Dec 21, 2020, I received an email from Google Payments “Google AdSense: Check your recent payment” I was surprised at what this mail was, so just opened it and found that I received my first payment from Adsense of $102.58 [screenshot attached below].

I was very happy that day as it was my first earning from blogging after 2 years, it was one of the best moments of my life as it was the first time I had earned money.

Beginning of Blogging Raptor Blog

On 19/03/2021, I decided to start a new blog where I will share my strategies, help newcomers in this blogging field, and teach them what they need to do to grow their blogs.

On 20/03/2021, I purchased a new domain bloggingraptor.com from BigRock and created a new blog on blogger.com.

The blog grew a little bit as I did good keyword research and targeted low-competitive keywords to rank and bring more traffic to my blog.

Worked on the Blogger platform for a few months and built some relations in the blogging community through Facebook and Telegram groups.

Some of my fellow blogger friends told me to shift from Blogger to WordPress as it will help me create a customized site and it will leave a good impression on visitors.

After a few months on 04/11/2021, I purchased web hosting from HostArmada and shifted from Blogger to WordPress for more customization and SEO options, to grow my blog and give it a more professional look.

Then I worked on my blog, posted a lot of content, and got a few views too. But as you know, competition in this digital marketing.

Especially in blogging & SEO niche is extremely high, as my competitors are those SEO experts from which I have learned.

Received $160 as a Gift from a Friend

After a few months, the crypto blog of my Telegram friend got Adsense approved on 18 January 2021, after getting rejected for 1st time due to copyrighted images.

He was getting a great response on his blog, as at that time Cryptocurrency was booming in the markets and he earned around $95 between January and February.

After that, there was a lot of hype about Bitcoin, SHIBA INU, DogeCoin, ADA, and Matic, I told him to create blog posts related to it and share them on Quora, Facebook, and groups related to Crypto as I was also interested in the crypto market so I know what was trending in it.

As he was very hardworking & good at English content writing, he put all of his efforts in, and the results just blew up my mind.

He got 48k+ page views in March 2021 and he made around $435 in that month from Adsense, as the Cryptocurrency niche has very high CPC (Cost Per Click) & RPM (Revenue Per Thousand Impressions).

After that, he transferred $160 to my bank account, as he promised me that he would pay me 30% of his total earnings if I help him from the day he gets AdSense approval (i.e. 18/01/2021) till the day he receives his first Adsense payment (thanks a lot mate for that).

Below is his income report from 18/01/2021 to 23/03/2021, (also thanks for sharing the screenshot).

I was very happy that my strategies and work plan worked for him, as he was getting good results, and I also earned $160 just by guiding and helping him.

Beginning of Blogging Raptor YouTube Channel

Again I was worried about my blogging career and what should I do now. Then I was just discussing this thing with one of my friends.

He told me that I should try to create video content on the same niche on the same topics and publish it on YouTube as very few people were doing this.

Then I planned to start a YouTube channel to target the Indian audience as the competition on YouTube is medium or low, and YouTube was quite easy to grow in this niche.

So I started working on my YouTube channel and created and published my 1st video about Best Blogger Theme for Adsense Approval on May 5, 2021.

Guess what I got some amazing 175 views in the first week since the video was published [attached screenshot below]

This gave me a lot of motivation and I continued to create & publish more and more videos on my channel.

As we know hard work always pays off, after three months of consistency, I achieved 10K+ views with 200+ watch hours and 60+ new subscribers on my channel.

Hitting 1st 500 and 1K Subscribers on YouTube Channel

I achieved my first subscriber goal of 500 subscribers on 12/09/2021, on that day I was very happy and finally decided to take this profession as my full-time job and invest more of my time in it.

And then I hit the milestone of 1000 subscribers on 25th March 2022.

Launched My Digital Tools Website & Android App

After some time getting more knowledge and experience in SEO, I launched a new web tools website RaptorKit where I have added some free web tools related to digital marketing.

The main objective of launching this site is to provide premium SEO & Digital Marketing Tools to new Bloggers, Developers & Other Digital Creators absolutely for FREE!

After a few months, I also launched RaptorKit’s Android app to earn a little bit from Admob, but it failed as I received Ad limit issues due to incorrect ad placements, so I left it.

Received 1st Payment from YouTube Ads & Collaborations

After consistently working on my YouTube channel. I received my first YouTube channel ad revenue of $112.20 on 21st November 2023, again a happy and inspiring moment of my life.

Also, I got the opportunity to collaborate and partner with big web hosting and web tool companies in this blogging & digital marketing field:

The Fall of Blogging Raptor’s Blog

Then my blogging career went through a lot of ups and downs as this field needs a lot of hard work with consistency and I wasn’t doing that, due to which my YouTube channel growth and reach became very slow.

Somehow I was able to achieve another milestone of 5000 subscribers on 3rd January 2024, again started working on my channel, and got a sudden growth too.

Everything was going as planned, but as I said my career went through a lot of ups and downs, so in March 2024, Google launched its new March 2024 Spam Update.

Because of it many blogs and sites lost all of their traffic even after doing everything correctly, and my Blogging Raptor blog was one of them.

Again I felt a bit demotivated because I had given a lot of time and hard work in writing articles on my Raptor blog but a single update from Google just wasted it away.

Started This Blog + Portfolio Website

After waiting for a few months, in the hope that my Raptor blog would recover again, on 21st June 2024 I planned to rewrite my articles with more information and publish them on this Shrey Kajaria blog.

As I haven’t used this domain since purchasing it, this will be treated as a new website, and also this will help me in personal branding & work as my portfolio.

Also, I don’t want to rely on a single source of income, so I also added my freelancing services to this blog which will help me to earn some more passive income.
